Summary: The Intelligence Manager - Detective Inspector role involves overseeing the Intelligence Management Unit, ensuring effective management of information and intelligence in accordance with national standards. The position requires the development of intelligence strategies to manage risks and threats, as well as supervising staff within the Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW). Additional managerial support within CTPNW may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the work of the Intelligence Management Unit and supporting functions.
• Ensure timely and effective receipt, assessment, and management of information and intelligence.
• Develop intelligence and investigative strategies to identify and manage risk and threat.
• Supervise and manage staff working within CTPNW intelligence.
• Support other managerial functions within CTPNW as required.
