Summary: The Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification Engineer at Cyient will support armed forces and defence customers by delivering mission systems solutions primarily for land-based vehicles. This role involves planning and executing IVVQ activities, liaising with project stakeholders, and addressing technical issues during the integration phase. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IVVQ activities for a project refresh based at the Belfast office.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to plan integration activities in line with the development/delivery lifecycle and timeline.
  • Complete IVVQ activities, including scoping, planning, defining test cases and scenarios, execution, and demonstration.
  • Monitor, review, and advise on technical issues encountered during the integration phase.
  • Support fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Perform regression testing following the rectification of hardware/software faults.
  • Highlight technical risks associated with the integration phase and propose suitable mitigation actions.
  • Support the execution of in-house verification, factory, and site acceptance testing.

The primary purpose of this role is to support IVVQ activities for a project refresh based at the Belfast office. Liaise with project stakeholders to plan integration activities in line with the development/delivery lifecycle and timeline. Complete the IVVQ activities, including scoping, planning, and defining test cases and scenarios, execution, and demonstration. Must to have skills:

  • Strong knowledge of systems integration.
  • Experience with architectures and interfaces of full flight simulation devices.
  • Experience in leading installation and/or customer acceptance activities.
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), often remotely, to resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including within multi-cultural environments and across different sites/countries.
