Summary: The Interior Experience Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing both manual and automated test cases for Interior Experience features in vehicles. This role involves ensuring quality standards are met, producing test reports, and collaborating with system engineers to maintain traceability of requirements. The engineer will also engage in defect management and root cause analysis to address issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create manual and automated feature and system level test cases for Interior Experience features.
- Apply appropriate test techniques to ensure robustness and quality of test cases.
- Execute feature level test cases on vehicles and system level test cases on Hardware in the Loop or Vehicle in the Loop rigs.
- Produce test execution reports.
- Support defect management and root cause analysis of issues.
- Collaborate with system engineers and system leads to ensure all requirements are testable and traceable.
Key Skills:
- Automotive System Integration & Integration Testing experience.
- Experience in Systems Engineering “V-Model” with a focus on requirements-based testing and design verification and validation.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering tools, processes, and practices.
- Experience in building simulation environments within the automotive industry (dSPACE, Simulink).
- Strong communication skills to convey complex engineering topics to diverse audiences.
