Summary: The Integration Lead will oversee the integration strategy and development for a Salesforce Education Cloud project within a higher education context. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in London, and is set for a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration strategy and development for Salesforce Education Cloud.
  • Design and deliver integrations using Microsoft Azure PaaS.
  • Support the transition from legacy systems to cloud-native platforms.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Implement integration monitoring and logging frameworks.
  • Oversee Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.

  • Proven experience as an Integration Architect or Lead Developer.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Azure PaaS (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus).
  • Expertise in integration strategy, API management, and canonical data models.

Integration Lead with experience of working on large enterprise-scale programmes, ideally in Higher Education, is needed to support a Salesforce Education Cloud, for our higher education client. The role will focus on the integration strategy and patterns, leading the development of integrations using Microsoft Azure PaaS, and support the interim and long-term transition from legacy systems (such as SITS) to cloud-native platforms.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as an Integration Architect or Lead Developer on enterprise-scale programmes, preferably in Higher Education.
  • Excellent skills in designing and delivering integrations using Microsoft Azure PaaS (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus,)
  • Expertise in integration strategy, API management, and canonical data models.
  • Experience of integrating with Salesforce (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events) and Canvas LMS or similar SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with integrating legacy systems (SITS) with modern cloud-native systems.
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
  • Exposure to integration monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, including managing third-party vendors and internal teams.

  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message-based integrations.
