Summary: The role of the Contract Integrations Engineer (Azure) involves architecting and delivering integration solutions within the Azure ecosystem on a contract basis. The engineer will design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using Azure technologies, collaborating with various teams to ensure best practices are followed. This position is hybrid and offers the potential for contract extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure services and C# programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Develop robust Azure Function Apps and Logic Apps using C#.
  • Automate workflows and system processes for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with architects to define and implement integration patterns and best practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of integration components.

Key Skills:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Azure-based integration engineering.
  • Strong background in Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and automation frameworks.
  • Advanced knowledge of C# for building cloud-native applications.
  • Solid understanding of API management, enterprise integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and related database services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Scripting in Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell (desirable).
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Event Grid, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) (desirable).
  • Awareness of cloud security and compliance best practices (desirable).
  • Certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (desirable).
  • Exposure to AWS and GCP and a multi-cloud strategy mindset (desirable).

Salary (Rate): £56.00/hr
