12 Month Fixed Term Contract

As an Integrations Engineer, you'll work within an Agile product team to design, develop and implement Azure-based integration solutions that connect applications, systems and services across the business. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers and other technology specialists, you'll help ensure data flows securely and efficiently between systems while supporting the continuous improvement of our integration capability.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, building and supporting Azure integration solutions using technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid and Azure API Management.
  • Developing integration logic, data mappings and system interactions to enable seamless information exchange between platforms.
  • Building secure and reliable integrations that meet security, compliance and governance requirements.
  • Testing and validating integration solutions through unit, end-to-end and workflow testing.
  • Implementing monitoring, logging and error-handling processes to maximise reliability and performance.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting live integrations, conducting root cause analysis and resolving issues.
  • Automating build and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Managing source control and supporting continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  • Producing technical documentation, support guides and design artefacts.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Technology and the wider business to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Contributing to architecture discussions, prototyping activities and future integration strategy.

We're looking for a technically strong engineer with a passion for problem solving, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions. You'll be comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment and capable of communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure integration services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Grid.
  • Experience designing and supporting system integrations across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong programming experience in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python or similar.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise-scale integrations.
  • Knowledge of Azure CLI and PowerShell.
  • Experience documenting technical solutions and integration processes.
  • Experience working within Agile product teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
