Summary: The Integration Developer role focuses on supporting the Salesforce Education Cloud for a higher education client, emphasizing the development and management of integrations between systems using Microsoft Azure PaaS components. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support integrations between new and existing systems using Microsoft Azure PaaS components.
- Develop modular, reusable, and secure integration components aligned with canonical data models and modern API-first principles.
- Manage REST APIs and implement API-first integration designs.
- Integrate cloud systems such as Salesforce and Canvas LMS.
- Work with legacy student systems, focusing on data integration and synchronization.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Collaborate in Agile delivery teams with story-based development.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Integration Developer on enterprise-scale programs, preferably in Higher Education.
- Experience with Azure PaaS integration tools: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid.
- Proficient in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent languages used in Azure development.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tooling for backlog, code, and release management.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
- Knowledge of student lifecycle processes in Higher Education and relevant data domains.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

Integration Developer- Salesforce Education Cloud-Student Systems Implementation Essential Experience
- Proven experience as an Integration Developer on enterprise-scale programmes, preferably in Higher Education.
- experience with Azure PaaS integration tools: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid
- Experience building and managing REST APIs and implementing API-first integration designs
- Experience integrating cloud systems (Salesforce, Canvas LMS, or other SaaS platforms.
- Experience with SITS or other legacy student systems, particularly around data integration and synchronisation.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- Proficient in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent languages used in Azure development.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tooling for backlog, code, and release management.

- Knowldge of event-driven and message-based architectures (Event Hub, Kafka, or Service Bus)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Awareness of data security, GDPR, and compliance in educational or public sector environments.
- Exposure to OpenAPI/Swagger, API lifecycle management, and version control best practices.
- Previous experience working with third-party suppliers in multi-vendor delivery environments.
12-month contract-to start ASAP- Hybrid working 2 days on site per week in London £450.00per day outside of IR35.
