Summary: The Integration Developer role focuses on supporting the Salesforce Education Cloud for a higher education client, emphasizing the development of integrations between systems using Microsoft Azure PaaS components. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on-site work per week in London, and is offered on a 12-month contract basis. The position is outside of IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Salesforce Education Cloud by building and managing integrations between new and existing systems.
  • Develop modular, reusable, and secure integration components using Microsoft Azure PaaS tools.
  • Implement API-first integration designs and manage REST APIs.
  • Integrate cloud systems, including Salesforce and other SaaS platforms.
  • Work with legacy student systems for data integration and synchronization.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams for incremental development.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Integration Developer in enterprise-scale programs, preferably in Higher Education.
  • Experience with Azure PaaS integration tools: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid.
  • Experience in building and managing REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud systems integration (Salesforce, Canvas LMS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of legacy student systems and data integration.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Proficiency in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools.
  • Experience in Agile delivery teams.

Integration Developer - Salesforce Education Cloud-Student Systems Implementation

Integration Developer with experience of working on large enterprise-scale programmes, ideally in Higher Education, is needed to support a Salesforce Education Cloud, for our higher education client.

The role will focus on building and support integrations between new and existing systems using Microsoft Azure PaaS components to develop modular, reusable, and secure integration components aligned with canonical data models and modern API-first principles.

Integration Developer- Salesforce Education Cloud-Student Systems Implementation

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as an Integration Developer on enterprise-scale programmes, preferably in Higher Education.
  • experience with Azure PaaS integration tools: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid
  • Experience building and managing REST APIs and implementing API-first integration designs
  • Experience integrating cloud systems (Salesforce, Canvas LMS, or other SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with SITS or other legacy student systems, particularly around data integration and synchronisation.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
  • Proficient in C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent languages used in Azure development.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tooling for backlog, code, and release management.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams with story-based development and incremental delivery.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of student lifecycle processes in Higher Education and relevant data domains.
  • Knowldge of event-driven and message-based architectures (Event Hub, Kafka, or Service Bus)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Awareness of data security, GDPR, and compliance in educational or public sector environments.
  • Exposure to OpenAPI/Swagger, API lifecycle management, and version control best practices.
  • Previous experience working with third-party suppliers in multi-vendor delivery environments.

12-month contract-to start ASAP- Hybrid working 2 days on site per week in London

£450.00per day outside of IR35.
