Insurance Project Manager

Summary: The Insurance Project Manager role involves leading cross-functional teams to enhance business maturity and operational effectiveness within the insurance and financial services sectors. The position requires strong project management skills and experience in various functional areas, including finance, compliance, and technology. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence in London for part of the week. The position is classified as outside IR35, indicating a flexible working arrangement for contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong project management skills with experience working across functional workstreams inc. Finance, risk & compliance, Legal & governance, Tech & Data and HR to drive business maturity and operational effectiveness.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- able to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive project success.
• Able to think clearly and present ideas and plan in a concise and effective manner.
• Experience of working and leading project teams including but not limited to, third parties, internal technology teams and Business SMEs.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Insurance / Financial Services experience as well as an understanding of the MGA model is highly preferred.
