Senior Data Analyst - Insurance Re-platforming
£650-£750 per day | Contract
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support a major re-platforming programme within a specialty insurance business.
This is a new role in the team, focused predominantly on the Proposal Solutions workstream. The work has a substantial technical and data engineering component, with an ambitious delivery timetable and significant progress expected by the end of 2026.
You'll analyse data across multiple source systems, support extraction and orchestration processes, and maintain existing Python code. The workstream is expected to make extensive use of Databricks, so hands-on experience with the platform would be particularly valuable.
We're looking for someone with:
- Senior-level data analysis experience in insurance
- Advanced SQL and strong Python skills
- Experience extracting and analysing data from multiple source systems
- The ability to understand and maintain existing Python extraction code
- Practical Databricks experience, or experience with a comparable cloud data platform
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment
Viper experience would be useful, but it is not essential. Strong technical data and engineering capability is the priority.
