Instructor/Trainer

Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Instructional Designer to join our team on a contract basis for a two-month period in SLC. This position focuses on creating and delivering engaging educational content to enhance customer onboarding, training, and product adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful learning solutions that align with adult learning principles and drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and update structured course paths and assessments in LearnUpon, prioritizing early customer engagement.

Create and deliver customer-facing instructional materials, including onboarding and product-specific training sessions.

Design and implement virtual training programs covering best practices and product functionality for various user groups.

Create customer-facing slide decks using Matik software to enhance learning experiences.

Utilize tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Powtoon to design impactful instructional content.

Apply adult learning theories and best practices to the creation and delivery of educational resources.

Assist in improving the design and layout of the customer newsletter to optimize educational outreach.

Provide consultation on governance and delivery strategies across the knowledge ecosystem to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Proven experience in developing and managing content within a learning management system, preferably LearnUpon.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver instructional materials in a technology or SaaS environment.
Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Excellent written and visual communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred: Experience with SaaS product education and digital onboarding programs.
