Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively calling a defined list of brokers/introducers to generate sufficient deals to achieve or exceed targeted business.
  • Establishing and executing a robust contact strategy for each broker/introducer.
  • Chasing pipeline of deals to maximize conversion rates.
  • Working closely with internal functions to structure challenging deals for credit approval.
  • Selling the value proposition over the phone to broker/introducer contacts.
  • Ensuring deals are managed in line with internal Credit Policy.
  • Meeting brokers/introducers face to face when appropriate.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for broker/introducers to assist in structuring deals.
  • Developing strong working relationships with colleagues to maximize business opportunities.
  • Supporting external Sales colleagues and achieving new business targets.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of asset finance products.
  • Understanding of key credit requirements for credit approval.
  • Good knowledge of pricing and broker market.
  • Strong relationship management skills.

Internal Sales Manager - 12 month FTC - Fleet (3 days on site) - £40,000 to £45,000 base salary - plus Bonus and Commission

A little about the role....

Our FTSE 250 listed Financial Services client is in search of an Internal Sales Manager for a 12 month Maternity cover, you'll be managing existing agreed and new broker relationships over the phone, to deepen relationships with each broker’s key staff, and maximise the business opportunity with each one. You'll also manage a small number of Introducers and/or direct customers to maximise the business opportunity from each one, maintaining tight control of deal pipeline to maximise the conversion of deals. The core objective of the role is to achieve targeted volume, yield, term and fees from a defined list of brokers and other introductory sources, and maximise the conversion of Proposals into funded volume.

Day to day you can expect to be....

  • Pro-actively calling a defined list of brokers/introducers to generate sufficient deals to achieve or exceed the targeted business from each one
  • Establish robust contact strategy for each broker/introducer to deepen relationships with each one, and execute against it including face to face visits when required
  • Chase pipeline of deals with the relevant broker/introducer contact to maximise conversion rates
  • Work closely with internal functions to structure more challenging deals to enable credit approval
  • Sell the value proposition over the phone to broker/introducer contacts
  • Ensure deals are managed in line with internal Credit Policy
  • Meet brokers/introducers face to face where appropriate

A bit about you....

  • Minimum of 2 years "sales experience"
  • Detailed knowledge of the hard asset finance market is a bonus
  • Detailed knowledge of asset finance products to structure transactions is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of key credit requirements to achieve credit approval is desirable
  • Good knowledge and understanding of pricing desirable
  • Good knowledge of broker market is desirable
