Summary: The Infrastructure Support Analyst I will provide desk-side and remote support for personal computing environments as part of a 7-month assignment with a major oil and gas client in Rodeo, CA. This role involves managing technical support issues, training users, and maintaining hardware and software inventories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform builds, deliveries, installations, and repairs of computing equipment.
- Provide training and consultation to end users.
- Handling technically complex desktop support issues.
- Managing permissions as the site's Microsoft OU Administrator.
- Providing hands-on support for the WAN/LAN environment.
- Implementing and supporting various hardware/systems required by the business unit.
- Frequent interaction with multiple IT support personnel in Bartlesville and Houston.
- Maintaining hardware and software inventories.
Key Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 2 flights of stairs.
- Bend, stoop, and crawl under tables/desks to connect needed wiring.
- Able to push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 100 lbs.
- Able to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the offices.
- Available for after-hours (call-out) support of critical infrastructure.
- 3 years of direct experience with installing Ethernet cable and T-com equipment.
- Three years of direct experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Three years of direct experience in administering a site organizational unit using Microsoft Active Directory.

Requirements:

Preferred:
