Summary: The Infrastructure Support Analyst I will provide desk-side and remote support for personal computing environments as part of a 7-month assignment with a major oil and gas client in Rodeo, CA. This role involves managing technical support issues, training users, and maintaining hardware and software inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform builds, deliveries, installations, and repairs of computing equipment.
  • Provide training and consultation to end users.
  • Handling technically complex desktop support issues.
  • Managing permissions as the site's Microsoft OU Administrator.
  • Providing hands-on support for the WAN/LAN environment.
  • Implementing and supporting various hardware/systems required by the business unit.
  • Frequent interaction with multiple IT support personnel in Bartlesville and Houston.
  • Maintaining hardware and software inventories.

Key Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 2 flights of stairs.
  • Bend, stoop, and crawl under tables/desks to connect needed wiring.
  • Able to push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the offices.
  • Available for after-hours (call-out) support of critical infrastructure.
  • 3 years of direct experience with installing Ethernet cable and T-com equipment.
  • Three years of direct experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking an Infrastructure Support Analyst I to work on a 7-month assignment in their facilities in Rodeo, CA.

Summary:
The Infrastructure Support Analyst may be responsible for providing desk-side and remote support for personal computing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform builds, deliveries, installations, and repairs of computing equipment.
  • Provide training and consultation to end users.
  • Handling technically complex desktop support issues.
  • Managing permissions as the site's Microsoft OU Administrator.
  • Providing hands-on support for the WAN/LAN environment.
  • Implementing and supporting various hardware/systems required by the business unit.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 2 flights of stairs.
