Summary: A leading financial organization is seeking an Infrastructure/Security Solution Architect with extensive knowledge in Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure. The role focuses on enhancing capabilities and continuous improvement standards while leading architectural projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in both infrastructure and security architecture, particularly in cloud platforms. This position is critical for developing and managing the organization's infrastructure strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- High Level Solution Design, Solutions Overview and Conceptual Architectures.
- Design and architect solutions based on technical and business requirements.
- Develop and document architecture blueprints and best practices.
- Act as a lead Architecture on projects.
- Contribute to the development & management of Infrastructure Strategy.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Architecture writing designs for both Infrastructure and Security.
- Strong Experience in Cloud platforms, Data Centre and hosting technologies. Ideally AWS.
- Ability to communicate solutions to other stakeholders.
- Automation tools experience: Ansible or Jenkins.
- Security tools experience: PAM is a bonus.
- Broad knowledge of Networks & Security.
- Good knowledge of Risk management.
- Work closely with other architecture disciplines including Enterprise, Application and Security, as well Engineering and Operations.
- Industry recognised certifications (such as Togaf, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) in conjunction with application in previous roles are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts, principles and best practices.
