Summary: The Infrastructure Project Manager role involves providing hands-on network support during upgrades and outages across the UK and Ireland, as well as managing the design and delivery of new office and factory networks. The position requires collaboration with partners and business leaders to capture requirements, develop designs, and manage project timelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support during network upgrades, cutovers, and infrastructure changes.
- Attend sites across the UK & Ireland during unplanned outages to assist with diagnosis, recovery, and service restoration.
- Support LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, equipment replacement, patching, cabling, and physical device validation.
- Work with partners and business leaders to capture requirements for new office and factory networks.
- Develop implementation timelines, produce high-level and low-level designs (where required), and gather cost estimates.
- Project manage network deployments or significant changes, maintaining risk registers, project plans, delivery trackers, and stakeholder updates.
- Experience contributing to or managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Ability to produce project plans, track delivery dependencies, and maintain risk logs.
- Vendor and partner coordination skills.
- Coordinate infrastructure activities across Business, Real Estate, Digital Core / Infrastructure, and external vendors.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong incident management experience in multi-site or industrial environments.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate outage periods.
