Detailed Description From Employer:

Infrastructure Project Managers are a funny one. Some are very process and governance focused but struggle to challenge technical delivery. Others are highly technical but don’t necessarily bring the structure needed to keep a programme moving. This role needs someone who can comfortably sit in the middle. My client is going through a major DX transformation, including a wider D365 programme, and needs an Infrastructure Project Manager to help keep the surrounding infrastructure projects moving while the wider team focuses on getting the transformation over the line. So whilst the D365 programme provides the backdrop, this role is less about direct ERP delivery and more about making sure the infrastructure side of the house stays organised, aligned, and progressing properly. You’ll be leading a small infrastructure-focused project team, overseeing a mixture of operational and infrastructure workstreams including: Server builds supporting the wider transformation Cyber Essentials-related activity Infrastructure readiness across multiple areas Keeping milestones, risks, dependencies, and suppliers under control This isn’t a hands-on engineering role, but you will need enough infrastructure understanding to challenge, sense check, and keep delivery moving in the right direction.
