Summary: The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects within the IT Infrastructure & Transformation team in Bournemouth. This role involves coordinating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure effective project execution with minimal disruption. The manager will oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are well-planned and communicated throughout their lifecycle. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and technology projects.
  • Defining project scope, plans, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
  • Translating technical activities into clear, structured delivery plans.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for project communication.
  • Providing clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders in business-focused language.
  • Facilitating project meetings, workshops, RAID reviews, and decision-making sessions.
  • Maintaining project governance documentation, including plans, status reports, and risk logs.
  • Escalating risks and issues promptly, with practical mitigation proposals.
  • Supporting portfolio and PMO reporting as required.
  • Working closely with infrastructure engineers, service teams, and third-party suppliers.
  • Removing delivery blockers and helping technical teams stay focused on outcomes.

Infrastructure Project Manager - 6-Month Temporary Contract - Bournemouth

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Infrastructure Project Manager to join our IT Infrastructure & Transformation team in Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of infrastructure and technology projects across the firm, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure change is delivered effectively and with minimal disruption.

About the Role

As an Infrastructure Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of infrastructure and technology-related projects, from upgrades and migrations to security and resilience initiatives. Acting as the bridge between technical engineers and the wider business, you’ll ensure projects are well planned, clearly communicated, and governed from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in driving successful delivery by coordinating resources, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
