Summary: The Infrastructure/Network Engineer role involves designing, deploying, and managing network architectures with a focus on Cisco ACI, Fortigate, and VMware/NSX-T. The position requires a skilled individual to provide technical support and documentation while operating in secure environments. The role is primarily remote with some onsite requirements in Corsham. SC Clearance is required, with DV Clearance being desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage spine and leaf architecture using Cisco ACI/APIC.
- Manage Fortigate NGFW and Fortiswitch, including Fortimanager for FW IDS/IPS and hardware firmware updates.
- Integrate VMware NSX-T with Cisco ACI physical network.
- Operate in air-gapped environments that are not connected to the Internet.
- Create and update system design and configuration documentation.
- Assist in onboarding new IaaS capabilities during service transition.
- Provide 3rd line support in a live environment.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Cisco ACI and APIC.
- Experience with Fortigate NGFW and Fortiswitch.
- Proficiency in VMware NSX-T.
- Ability to operate in air-gapped environments.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience in service transition and onboarding IaaS capabilities.
- Technical support experience, particularly 3rd line support.
