Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Infrastructure Build and Release Operations: Oversee planning, execution, and governance of infrastructure build and release activities across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Environment Provisioning and Readiness: Ensure environments are provisioned, configured, and maintained to support development, testing, and production workloads.
  • Automation and DevOps Enablement: Champion automation initiatives including infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices to accelerate delivery and improve consistency.
  • Compliance and Security Controls: Implement and monitor controls to ensure infrastructure build and release processes meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Oversee incident response and root cause analysis related to build and release operations, ensuring timely resolution and preventative measures.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor build and release performance metrics and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cloud, application, and security teams to ensure build and release operations support broader infrastructure and business goals.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of build and release procedures, configurations, and incident reports. Provide regular updates to senior management.

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure build and release operations in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (eg, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (eg, Azure, AWS) and their integration with enterprise infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security frameworks relevant to infrastructure operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (eg, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are desirable.

Role Purpose

We're looking for a people centric Infrastructure manager who will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure build and release operations across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. This role ensures that infrastructure deployments are secure, automated, and compliant with internal controls and external regulations. Fundamental to this role is managing a team of engineers and collaborating across technology functions, the manager drives delivery excellence, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
