Summary: This role is for an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in vulnerabilities and patching within a leading tech company based in London. The position requires strong experience in M365, Azure, and Qualys, focusing on vulnerability management and patching in a hybrid work environment. The contract is outside IR35, with a requirement to work on-site two days a week. Candidates with experience in financial services or related sectors will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vulnerability and patching processes in an M365, Windows 10/11, Azure, and Qualys environment.
- Remediate issues where patches have not correctly installed on laptops and servers.
- Collaborate with internal and third-party Infra and Infosec Teams/Vendors.
- Utilize Qualys to identify issues and ensure compliance with certifications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships.

This is an exceptional Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) contract opportunity with a leading London based tech company.
The Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) contract is Hybrid, with 2 days a week in the London office .
The Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) contract is Outside IR35 .
As Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) you will join existing Infrastructure Teams in an M365, Windows 10/11, Azure, Qualys environment and your focus will be around vulnerability management and patching - so strong commercial experience in this area is essential. As Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) you will remediate where patches have not correctly installed from centralized software on laptops & Servers. The Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) will work with internal and 3rd party Infra and Infosec Teams/Vendors, so similar previous experience is preferred. Strong Qualys experience is essential as Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) as this is used to identify issues with any Qualys certifications being preferred. Azure experience is also essential as Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) with certs being desirable, strong M365 is also essential as are excellent communication skills and stake holder management. Financial Services, Banking or Insurance experience as Infrastructure Engineer (Vulnerabilities/Patching) would be a bonus.
