Summary: We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud environments that support critical business applications. The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office, and is available for a duration of six months. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Develop reusable, modular, and version-controlled infrastructure code
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams
- Manage and optimise cloud environments across AWS or GCP
- Monitor performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Implement robust security controls and ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain clear documentation of architecture and processes
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform (essential)
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting skills (Bash or Python) desirable
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
