Infrastructure Engineer

Summary: This contract role for an Infrastructure Engineer in Barnoldswick, Lancashire, involves managing server migrations and upgrades, particularly with Nutanix and VMware platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage server migration and upgrades, focusing on Nutanix and VMware platforms.
• Administer endpoint management using M365, Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID.
• Implement network segmentation concepts such as vLANs.
• Provide support to other IT teams and mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshoot sync/auth issues and manage device provisioning and policy management.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure management and System Administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Nutanix).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server Migrations and Upgrades.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining Network Security.
