Summary: The Infrastructure Engineer (Security-Focused) role is centered on designing and delivering secure infrastructure solutions, particularly in enterprise security platforms like Trellix. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver secure infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments
  • Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise endpoint security / EDR platforms (e.g. Trellix or equivalent)
  • Implement security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation aligned to industry standards (e.g. CIS, NCSC)
  • Manage and optimise Windows Server and Active Directory environments to ensure performance, stability, and security
  • Collaborate with architects and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions
  • Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Proven experience administering enterprise endpoint security platforms (e.g. Trellix ePO or similar)
  • Experience working in hybrid environments across Azure and/or AWS
  • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security, threat prevention, and vulnerability management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively within technical teams
  • Experience working in Agile environments

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in enterprise security platforms such as Trellix (formerly McAfee ePO) or similar endpoint security tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of infrastructure and cybersecurity, contributing to the design and delivery of secure, resilient environments within highly regulated sectors.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, curious, and motivated to solve complex challenges. You will play a key part across the full lifecycle of infrastructure delivery-from discovery and design through to migration and hardening-while maintaining a security-first mindset.

You'll work closely with technical leadership and stakeholders, helping to build and support robust environments that meet stringent compliance and operational standards.
