Summary: The role of Infrastructure Engineer requires a skilled individual to provide 3rd line infrastructure technical support within a corporate environment. The successful candidate will engage in incident management, infrastructure monitoring, and security issue remediation while working in a hybrid model. This position is based in Kent and involves collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. Engagement is through an umbrella company, emphasizing the need for a strong technical background in various infrastructure technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incidents and report within SLA's
- Monitor key infrastructure and respond to issues, including pre-emptive support for predicted issues
- Support projects teams
- Participate in investigations & remediation of Security related issues eg vulnerabilities or Security breaches
- LLD infrastructure design & build best practice
- Keeping technical Documentation updated
- Build working relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with staff of all technical ability & understanding
Key Skills:
- Extensive 3rd line Infrastructure Technical Specialist
- BAU infrastructure support in an ITIL environment
- DevOps, Azure IAAS, PAA, Infrastructure as code
- Microsoft Windows technologies, Active Directory, WDS, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, Group Policy
- VMWARE/vSphere
- IT Cyber Security eg firewalls, antivirus, security patching, IDP/IDS
- SAN Technologies

The successful candidate will have a background providing 3rd line infrastructure technical support within a corporate environment.
Engagement is via umbrella company.
Hybrid working - 2 days per week onsite.
