Summary: The Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in a large-scale Azure-based cloud transformation project within a major enterprise environment. This fixed-term position involves modernizing infrastructure and enhancing deployment automation while collaborating with experienced technical leads. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing both modern cloud platforms and legacy systems. The working arrangement is hybrid, requiring only one day per week in the Cardiff office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a major Azure-based transformation project.
- Enhance configuration management and deployment automation.
- Work across modern cloud platforms and legacy infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Digital Transformation/Infrastructure team.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices, particularly using Terraform.
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Azure services and modern cloud environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
- Hands-on understanding of Windows Legacy systems.
- Solid configuration management skills across complex environments.
