Summary: The Infrastructure Automation Engineer role involves supporting the technical team in designing, developing, and validating infrastructure automation components for the NSoIT(D) Platform. The position requires expertise in Python, Ansible, and Bash to create zero-touch automation packages and production-quality code. Candidates must have hands-on experience with automation tools and be capable of troubleshooting complex systems. SC clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, document, build, and validate infrastructure automation components.
• Create zero-touch automation packages by reverse engineering applications and designs.
• Produce production-quality code following industry best practices and internal policies.
• Utilize version control mechanisms such as GIT and BitBucket for code submission and peer reviews.
• Produce and review design artifacts at all levels.
• Support NSoIT(D) system testing activities.
• Collaborate with Service Management to resolve issues.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Python3, including advanced coding features.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash.
• Experience in automated deployment of server, network, and storage technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software component failures.
• Experience working in an Agile development team.
• SC clearance.
