Summary: The Infrastructure Architect VMWare role seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with valid DV clearance to support a dynamic delivery team in complex systems design and implementation. The successful candidate will lead technical solutions from design to implementation while providing support and mentoring to the wider team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support documentation
- Lead technical delivery from design through to build and handover
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across virtualisation platforms and Microsoft technologies
- Deliver enhancements and ongoing changes in response to evolving customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with testing and integration teams to ensure solution reliability and scalability
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering full technical solutions across design and build phases
- Strong knowledge of virtualisation, especially VMware vSphere 6.7 and/or 7
- Skilled in ESX performance fault finding and tuning
- Experience with storage platforms including Veeam, NetApp, iSCSI, Fibre Channel and NFS
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft Stack troubleshooting
- MCSE certification or equivalent practical experience
- Experience producing clear, structured, and supportable documentation

- Exposure to ISODE messaging products such as MBOX, MSWITCH, MVAULT and HARRIER Web Client
- Knowledge of SQL and database management
- Understanding of Network Data Diodes and their implementation
- Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and analysis
