Infrastructure Architect

Our client - Local Government - is seeking the addition of an experienced Infrastructure Architect on an interim basis.

This role is central to ensuring services can operate safely and securely as councils transition into new unitary authorities. You'll assess Legacy infrastructure and design safe, resilient transition solutions spanning networks, identity, Microsoft 365, telephony and cyber security - working across a complex, multi-organisation environment with suppliers and delivery partners.

Key skills/experience:

• Strong technical architecture background covering infrastructure, networking and identity services
• Track record delivering complex technical solutions in large, multi-organisation environments (public sector experience preferred)
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical designs, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience delivering integration solutions across systems (APIs, Legacy systems, platforms) with a focus on resilience and continuity
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working across organisations, suppliers and teams
