Summary: The Infrastructure Architect role is a 6-month contract position within a leading UK BFSI organization, focusing on the design and implementation of modern IT infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role requires regular onsite presence in Leeds or Bradford, collaborating with technical specialists on high-impact projects. The position emphasizes the development of secure and scalable infrastructure, particularly for payment systems and disaster recovery. Candidates will also mentor DBA teams and optimize infrastructure for performance and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement physical and virtual server infrastructures, ensuring alignment with security standards and business goals.
- Create low-level designs for Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data (versions 19 and 23) and mentor DBA teams on new components.
- Develop secure, scalable GoldenGate infrastructure for payment systems and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate closely with payment teams to integrate GoldenGate into broader payment solutions.
- Oversee deployment and optimize infrastructure for high availability, resilience, and performance.
