Summary: The role of IT Service Management Analyst/Consultant involves working with a not-for-profit organization in central London, focusing on improving IT service operations through ITIL and ISO 27001 frameworks. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing for four days of remote work per week. The consultant will conduct a baseline maturity assessment and suggest improvements for existing processes. The initial assignment is for three months, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a baseline maturity assessment against best practices for ITIL service operations and ISO 27001.
- Assess the current state and document existing processes.
- Identify gaps and suggest best practices for process improvements or new implementations.
- Utilize ITIL and ISO 27001 knowledge to enhance service operations.
- Engage in strong communication and stakeholder management.

Location - Central London with hybrid working (four days per week remote)

Rate - £340 to £360 per day (outside IR35)
Duration - Initially three months but could extend
To qualify the IT Service Management Analyst/Consultant will have demonstrable experience in IT service management, a good understanding of ITIL to include hands-on experience improving service operations, a working knowledge of ISO 27001 including operational control implementation and strong communication and stakeholder management competencies.
The assignment will be to conduct a baseline maturity assessment against best practise for ITIL service operations and ISO 27001. This will include assessment of the current state, documentation of existing processes, identify gaps and suggest best practice where processes can be improved or new ones implemented.
The assignment is initially for three-months however further extensions are possible.
