Summary: The role of IT Project Manager involves managing a portfolio of inter-related projects within a leading financial services organization. The successful candidate will ensure project delivery aligns with timelines, scope, budget, and quality while maintaining communication with stakeholders and vendors. This position requires strong experience in data-centric and financial systems implementations in fast-paced environments. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project management processes and artefacts for assigned projects
  • Deliver projects in line with the internal Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) and PMO reporting cadence
  • Manage scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and change control
  • Produce accurate and timely project status, RAID and financial reporting
  • Lead project planning, backlog management and day-to-day delivery activities
  • Facilitate regular project and stakeholder meetings to track progress and resolve risks
  • Manage third-party vendors, consultancies and software partners
  • Ensure effective resource planning and escalation of constraints where required
  • Support change governance through steering groups and senior committees
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimisation

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering IT projects in data or software delivery environments
  • Hands-on experience implementing DealCloud and/or FIS Integrity
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across PMO, sponsors and technology teams
  • Experience working with PRINCE2, PMBOK and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Desk and Confluence
  • Experience managing RAID logs, budgets, resources and delivery metrics
  • Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a matrix environment

We are working with a leading FS organisation seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their IT Programme Office on a contract basis. This role will suit a delivery-focused Project Manager with strong experience managing data-centric and financial systems implementations in complex, fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will take ownership of a small portfolio of inter-related projects, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, scope, budget and quality, while maintaining clear communication with senior stakeholders and vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project management processes and artefacts for assigned projects
  • Deliver projects in line with the internal Project Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) and PMO reporting cadence
  • Manage scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and change control

Essential Skills & Experience:
