Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current hardware and software estate, including tools, controls, and processes
- Review existing asset management, licensing, and governance processes to determine their effectiveness
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas of non-compliance within current software and hardware management practices
- Assess software licensing usage to identify overspend, underutilisation, and optimisation opportunities
- Determine whether existing software solutions remain fit for purpose and aligned to business needs
- Deliver clear recommendations and quick wins that can be implemented immediately
- Work closely with IT, procurement, and key stakeholders to gather accurate data and insights
- Produce documentation outlining the current state, future-state recommendations, and prioritised actions
- Support the transition and handover to a future permanent hire where required
