Summary: The Information Security Engineering Lead at John Lewis Partnership is responsible for overseeing the delivery of security capabilities and ensuring the Security Operations Centre is equipped to combat cyber threats. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery and maintenance of security operations tooling, particularly SentinelOne EDR.
- Lead a team of Security Engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure new technologies are secure.
- Monitor threats and vulnerabilities, engineering and testing key security defences.
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors for security solutions.
- Participate in on-call support as part of a callout rota.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in a senior Security Engineering role.
- Experience delivering and maintaining EDR tooling, particularly SentinelOne.
- Proven track record in agile delivery teams, using Scrum or Kanban.
- Collaboration experience with development, operations, and infrastructure teams.
- Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks like Mitre ATT&CK and NIST.
- Proficiency in SIEM tooling and Google SecOps (Google Chronicle) is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and cloud security tools.
- Formal accreditation in Information Security (e.g., ISC2 CISSP) is a plus.
