Summary: The role of Information Security Consultant involves supporting an organization in developing a business continuity plan in the event of a cyber incident. The position requires a strong technical background and experience in stakeholder management within a complex business environment. The consultants will work collaboratively to identify critical systems and processes while shaping the implementation plan. The contract is set to start ASAP and will run until December, with flexible working arrangements in Worcester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of a business continuity plan for cyber incidents.
  • Examine statement scoping and identify critical systems and processes.
  • Shape the implementation plan for the enterprise programme.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage conflicting priorities and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Cover key areas including risk-based cyber scorecards, technical recovery planning, and associated policies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical background in Network, Data, Endpoint Access, Terminals, and Devices.
  • Experience in business continuity design.

WRK digital are supporting an organisation to identify 2 highly experienced Information Security SME’s. These are contract roles to start ASAP until December with time required in Worcester / flexible. The objective of the role is to support the client in the creation of both a plan and delivery method for achieving business continuity in the event of a cyber incident. The Security consultants will need a strong technical background (Network, Data, Endpoint Access, Terminals, and Devices) alongside a strong Business Continuity design understanding. The positions will be working as part of a small team to examine the statement scoping, working with the business to identify critical systems and process, and shaping a plan for the implementation of the programme. The Security SME’s will need to have experience of working in a complex, and multifaceted business where stakeholder management / engagement has been crucial to success. Understand the conflicting priorities within a business and working in a pragmatic way to find solutions. The work will cover four key areas and appreciate of Risk based Cyber score cards, Technical recovery planning, Technology response, Business continuity and the associated policies will form key parts of the enterprise programme.
