Summary: The Information Manager role is focused on overseeing BIM design models and ensuring collaboration across multidisciplinary teams for two large Data Centre projects in London. The position requires expertise in BIM Execution Plans and quality assurance within a construction environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in architectural technology or building engineering, with experience in coordinating BIM processes. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive hourly rates based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, Architecture) ensuring the designs meet the project requirements.
- Oversee QA/QC.
- Conduct clash detection tests to find complications and problems, ensuring that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan.
- Ensure that models are concise and that documentation is organized efficiently in the Common Data Environment.
- Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements.
Key Skills:
- Expert with software such as ACC and Revit.
- Ability to implement and govern BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control experience.
- Prior experience as a BIM coordinator or a related role, preferably in infrastructure and/or buildings.
- Substantial experience within an Architectural Technician role or similar, designing detailed models and drawings.
- Qualification in a relevant industry field, preferably in architectural technology and/or building engineering, or a similar discipline.
