Summary: The Informatica BDM / IDMC Technical Lead role involves hands-on experience with ETL tools, specifically Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and Informatica Power Center, to support data applications and infrastructure for a key client. The position requires on-site work in Norwich 2-3 days per week and is classified as inside IR35. The contract is initially for six months, focusing on data integration and quality within cloud computing architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
  • Working experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services IDMC components – application integration, data integration, Informatica data quality.
  • Strong functional understanding of RDBMS DWH-BI conceptual knowledge.
  • Strong SQL skills and performance tuning capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Informatica platform and integration among different components and services.
  • Excellent data analysis and profiling skills using Informatica and Excel.
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, including designing, hardware sizing, effort estimation, and security.
  • Create solutions and environments for Analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities.
  • Implement data quality checks and standardization in the code.
  • Document all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail for customer handover.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose optimizations.

Key Skills:

  • Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, DataLake, Data Warehouse.
  • Experience with data analysis activities.
  • Developing application integration using SOAP/REST APIs.
  • Data Modeling experience and understanding of AWS concepts.
  • Knowledge of Spark is a plus.
