Summary: The Industry People Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the horseracing industry's people strategy, focusing on planning, coordinating, and evaluating key projects through 2025. This fixed-term position, based in Holborn, London, involves collaboration with various stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires strong project management skills and experience, with an emphasis on budget management and effective communication. An interest in horseracing is beneficial but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the first phase of implementation of the industry people strategy.
- Support the Programme Director in planning and securing funding for 2026.
- Coordinate the overall programme alongside programme leads and functional specialists.
- Manage selected projects directly as needed.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and delivery partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Utilize budget management skills and knowledge of grant funding processes.
Key Skills:
- Experience in project management, preferably with a focus on people-related projects.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple strands of work.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in budget management.
- Knowledge of grant funding application and reporting processes.
