Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service) (As the position is part-time & term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Etchingham CE Primary School is seeking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant (maternity cover) to support a child in the Reception environment during lessons and lunchtimes. The position is being advertised as part-time, mornings only for 9 hours per week, including lunchtime supervision. The working pattern will be Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:45 am to 1:45 pm. This is a temporary position to cover a member of staff who is on maternity leave.
The successful candidate should be someone who:
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Can contribute to a dynamic and hardworking team, working alongside the class teacher and SENCO.
- Can demonstrate the ability to provide consistent, calm and nurturing support whilst maintaining clear behaviour boundaries.
- Has previous experience of working with children; working with children with SEND and/or working with children in Early Years/KS1 would be preferable.
- Is committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school.
