Summary: The IMS Auditor role is a contract position based in Bridgwater, focusing on driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance through internal audits aligned with ISO standards. The auditor will lead audits across the HPC project, develop risk-based schedules, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and health & safety standards. This position emphasizes a commitment to nuclear safety and requires effective communication and organizational skills. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct internal audits across the HPC project.
  • Develop a risk-based audit schedule and collaborate with a diverse auditor pool.
  • Work with stakeholders across Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety to shape audit scope and focus.
  • Identify findings and track corrective actions through to resolution.
  • Provide clear, accurate reporting that supports decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

  • IRCA Lead Auditor Qualification (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015).
  • Experience with ISO standards in large, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong self-management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a regulated or nuclear environment (desirable).
  • Familiarity with UK nuclear site licence conditions (desirable).
  • Ability to speak French (desirable).
  • Membership of CQI or IRCA (desirable).
