Summary: The Power Platform Architect role is focused on designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate while guiding a .NET development team. The position requires extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and involves establishing best practices, governance, and integration strategies. The Architect will also oversee the migration of existing business processes to the Power Platform. This is a hybrid position based in Newton, MA, requiring local or nearby candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of enterprise PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) and Power Automate flows.
  • Define standards, reusable components, and development patterns for scalable Power Platform solutions.
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for Power Platform usage.
  • Integrate PowerApps/Power Automate with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure services, and third-party APIs.
  • Mentor and train the .NET development team to upskill on PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Create technical guidelines to translate .NET application logic into Power Platform solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and solution assessments for Power Platform deliverables.

  • Expertise in solution architecture, application lifecycle management (ALM), and DevOps for Power Platform.
  • Hands-on experience in Power Fx formulas, custom connectors, and advanced Power Automate workflows.
