Summary: The IFS Technical Consultant role at IT Works involves joining a well-established team to lead ERP implementations for clients, ensuring they maximize the benefits of the IFS ERP system. The position allows for remote work with occasional on-site travel, focusing on customizing and delivering solutions that meet business objectives. The consultant will collaborate with clients and internal teams, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time position for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements for the IFS ERP system.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for the implementation and customization of IFS ERP modules.
- Configure and customize the IFS ERP system to align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain data integrations and interfaces to connect the ERP system with other software applications.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and functionality of the ERP system.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, system architecture, and configuration guides.
- Stay up-to-date with IFS ERP advancements and industry trends to offer innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other consultants to ensure successful ERP project delivery.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an IFS ERP Technical Consultant or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFS ERP, including customization, integration, and development.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant certifications in IFS ERP or related fields are a plus.
