Summary: The IFS Security Architect role focuses on managing the access, permissions, and security model for a major global organization's IFS Cloud transformation. This high-impact position combines architecture, hands-on delivery, and governance to ensure a robust access framework across multiple countries. The architect will lead security design and compliance efforts while partnering with various teams to maintain audit readiness. The role requires strong experience with IFS Cloud security configuration and enterprise-scale ERP programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the IFS Cloud security architecture (roles, permission sets, data + API security)
- Embed RBAC, least privilege and SoD controls across programme delivery
- Translate business processes into scalable access models
- Lead security design, configuration and governance across releases and go-lives
- Support SIT/UAT, cutover and hypercare from a security perspective
- Partner with IT, business teams, and audit to ensure compliance (SOx/GDPR/ISO)
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with IFS Cloud security configuration
- Deep understanding of permissions, roles & access models in IFS
- Experience with Aurena, projections, APIs & integrations (REST/OData)
- Knowledge of Segregation of Duties & RBAC frameworks
- Experience in enterprise-scale ERP programmes (global/multi-site)
- Exposure to controlled environments (SOx, audit, compliance)
- Solid working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and IFS Connect
- IFS or security certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are desirable
- Experience across cloud transformations or ERP upgrades
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar

We're supporting a major global organisation undergoing a large-scale IFS Cloud transformation and are looking for an IFS Security Architect to take ownership of the access, permissions and security model across the platform.
This is a high-impact role combining architecture, hands-on delivery and governance - ensuring a robust, least-privilege, audit-ready access framework across a multi-country deployment.
The RoleYou will:
