Summary: The IFS Finance Consultant will play a vital role in the refinement and deployment of the IFS Cloud finance solution for clients. This position requires collaboration with existing consultants and subject matter experts to ensure the solution is validated and ready for implementation. The consultant will also be responsible for configuring finance modules, supporting data migration, and conducting system testing. Additionally, the role involves knowledge transfer to build internal capabilities within the client's finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the existing IFS Finance Consultant to refine the already defined IFS Cloud finance solution
- Work closely with business SMEs to gather detailed requirements and validate design assumptions
- Configure IFS Cloud finance modules in line with agreed business processes and solution design
- Support data migration activities by advising on financial data structures and requirements
- Conduct system testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve defects within the finance workstream
- Provide expert advice to ensure the finance solution is fit for purpose and aligned with best practice
- Support cutover planning and go-live readiness activities for the finance modules
- Deliver knowledge transfer and coaching to finance SMEs and super users to build internal capability
- Identify and proactively resolve issues or gaps in the solution to maintain project timelines
Key Skills:
- Experience with IFS Cloud finance solutions
- Strong understanding of finance processes and best practices
- Ability to gather and validate requirements from business SMEs
- Configuration skills for finance modules in IFS Cloud
- Experience in data migration and financial data structures
- Testing experience, including system and user acceptance testing
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues proactively
