Summary: The role of IFS Finance Consultant involves providing expert functional support for an IFS Cloud upgrade project, focusing on various finance modules. The consultant will act as a liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are met. Responsibilities include configuration, data migration validation, and advising on best practices in finance processes. This is a part-time, 6-month contract position with hybrid working arrangements based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert IFS Finance functional support for an IFS Cloud upgrade project, covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Act as a key liaison between finance stakeholders, technical teams, and the systems integrator to ensure business requirements are correctly translated and delivered.
- Support configuration, data migration validation, testing (SIT/UAT), and defect resolution within IFS Cloud Finance modules.
- Advise on best practice finance processes in IFS Cloud, including process optimisation and change impact assessment.
Key Skills:
- Experience with IFS Finance modules.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and best practices.
- Ability to liaise effectively between technical teams and finance stakeholders.
- Experience in configuration, data migration, and testing within IFS Cloud.
