Summary: The IDV Architect role involves designing a resilient and secure identity verification architecture using Microsoft Verified ID and Onfido. The position requires developing end-to-end security architecture and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. The role is based in Knutsford and requires working on-site for three days a week. The contract is set to last until September 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end security architecture for POC, MVP, and production rollout.
  • Define secure user journeys for remote password reset and identity verification.
  • Ensure alignment to enterprise security standards, compliance, and threat modeling outputs.
  • Produce architecture artifacts (HLD, LLD, patterns, data flows, integration specs).
  • Guide engineers during build and validate controls in testing.

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in IAM, MFA, IDV, and secure authentication flows.
  • Experience designing solutions using Microsoft Entra, Verified ID, Azure AD B2C/B2B, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of biometric verification platforms (Onfido).
  • Experience producing high-quality architectural documentation.
  • Security architecture certification (SABSA, CISSP, ISSAP or equivalent).
  • Financial services architecture experience (desirable).
  • Experience with privacy-preserving identity approaches (desirable).

Role Description

Design a resilient, scalable and secure IDV architecture incorporating Microsoft Verified ID, Onfido, and modern authentication flows. Safeguard user trust. Reduce risk. Enable frictionless recovery journeys.
