Summary: The role of Identity Management Consultant involves supporting sensitive MOD and aerospace programmes with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity initiatives. The consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to gather and document IAM business requirements, facilitate Agile delivery, and ensure compliance within highly regulated environments. Active SC Clearance is required for this position, along with extensive experience in IAM solutions. The role is based in Reading and requires a mix of on-site and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to gather, analyse and document IAM business requirements aligned to organisational and security objectives.
- Produce and manage detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, and functional documentation to support Agile delivery teams.
- Support IAM roadmap planning and backlog prioritisation based on business value, dependencies, and delivery capacity.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to support integrated IAM solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.
- Support testing activities including UAT and functional validation to ensure solutions met agreed specifications and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to IAM governance, risk management, and compliance activities within highly regulated environments.
- Assist in improving operational performance through process optimisation, incident analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate complex IAM and cybersecurity concepts effectively to business users and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support supplier and third-party engagement activities within secure delivery programmes.
