Hybrid workingOnly candidates with current security clearance will be considered for this role This role require SC/STRAP clearance this must be already held and active - we are unable to consider any candidates who do not hold this level of vetting currently - please do not apply if you do not have this clearanceA security cleared IT training professional who is passionate about technology and its ability to shape working practices to make them safer, more efficient, cost effective, and encourage collaboration.The ICT Trainer will join the growing ICT Training Team to design and deliver customised training for IT projects implemented nationally by the ICT Delivery stream. You will work on IT projects to ensure that all training provided, currently and historically, are of exceptional quality, meet project and business objectives and can be successfully transitioned into service support. This role reports to the ICT Training Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with stakeholders (project, testers, developers, business, national training function) to understand their training requirements and the technology to be implemented Design and develop bespoke technology based training courses, as dictated by the approved Training Strategy, including lesson plans, exercise workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, support guides etc. for each project assigned to Attend meetings and Working Groups, when required, to report on progress, obtain sign-off of documentation and confirm decisions and deliverables Schedule and deliver training, where required, to agreed user groups using classroom, one-to-one, coaching, remote training etc. in accordance with approved training approach Achieve and maintain training quality, design and delivery standards for ICT Provide updates to ICT Training Manager on progress, risks, issues and successes Any other activities that contribute to the successful delivery of ICT projects Work closely with the main Stakeholders (for BAU training) to ensure that an effective transition from Project to BAU is deliveredKey RequirementsDegree or equivalent experience/qualification in IT and Business ProcessTraining Hold a current and valid nationally recognised teaching or training qualification (eg Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent)Good working knowledge of industry standard learning/training methodologies5+ years of relevant experience in training design and delivery roles Experience of developing exceptional quality training materials for bespoke training coursesExperience of working in a project/programme environment as part of a delivery teamConfident with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills with meticulous attention to detailExceptional facilitation, training delivery and presentation skills Strong IT skills and a passion for learning new technologyProfessional and flexible approach to work with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Able to deliver training at all levels to groups with differing needsNB: Please feel free to apply to us direct via (see below) by quoting the job reference and job title exactly.
