Summary: The ICT Systems Test Engineer role involves ensuring the effective development and operations of software and systems through requirements analysis and validation. The position requires a strong background in DevOps, Linux, and systems security, along with experience in software engineering and automation tools. The role is based in Canberra, Australia, and requires Australian citizens with NV2 security clearance. This is a 24-month contract position with a focus on collaboration and alignment with project architects and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyze functional, non-functional, and security requirements.
- Ensure customer requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria are accurately captured and validated.
- Organize and prioritize requirements using techniques such as product roadmaps, epics, user stories, and backlogs.
- Specify and validate requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria for effective development and operations.
- Establish requirements baselines or backlogs, obtain agreement to requirements, and ensure traceability to source.
- Select and adapt appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools, and techniques.
- Maintain Operational Concept Document and Function Performance Specifications.
- Design system components using appropriate modeling techniques following agreed architectures and design standards.
- Produce detailed design specifications for system construction and review designs against specifications.
- Create and maintain roadmaps for business strategy execution and capability improvements.
- Liaise with Solution Architects and Designers to align architecture roadmaps and blueprints.
