Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and exam specifications.
- Teach core topics such as programming, algorithms, computational thinking, and data representation.
- Foster digital literacy and a passion for technology in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare students for assessments including GCSE Computer Science and related qualifications.
- Support extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, digital competitions, or IT workshops.
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date awareness of digital trends.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
