ICT & Computer Science Teacher

The Role

As an ICT & Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons across the curriculum, helping students develop their digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of computer science.

• Plan and deliver high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons.
• Inspire and engage students of different abilities and backgrounds.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing both their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and progress.

The Ideal Candidate: The school is looking for someone who:

• Has experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science.
• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications (ECTs may also be considered).
• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and education.
• Can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Has excellent classroom management skills.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting students.
• Works well as part of a team.
